Flu & COVID-19 vaccinations 2026/27

Our seasonal flu and COVID-19 vaccination programme will begin in October 2026, helping to protect eligible patients against serious illness during the autumn and winter months.

This year, we will be running a number of dedicated vaccination clinics across Ariel Healthcare.

Our main vaccination clinics will be:

• Monday 5th – Friday 9th October 2026 at our Summerfields Road site
• Saturday 10th October 2026 at our St. Mary’s site

During Monday 5th to Friday 9th October, Summerfields Road will be operating as a dedicated vaccination centre. If you do not have a vaccination appointment, please use our St. Mary’s site for other Practice queries, including handing in correspondence or samples.

How to book

If you are eligible, we will contact you with an invitation. Most invitations will be sent by text message and will include a link allowing you to book your appointment online.

You can also contact the Practice to arrange your vaccination. If calling to book, please telephone after 2pm, where possible.

Please only attend a vaccination clinic if you have a booked appointment.

Flu and COVID-19 eligibility is different

It is important to be aware that the eligibility criteria for the two vaccinations are not the same.

You may be eligible for a flu vaccination but not a COVID-19 vaccination this year. Please see the Flu vaccination and COVID-19 vaccination sections of this page for the full eligibility information.

If you are eligible for both vaccines, they can usually be given safely during the same appointment.

Already vaccinated elsewhere?

You may choose to receive your vaccination through another NHS provider, such as a participating community pharmacy.

If you have your vaccination elsewhere, this should normally be added to your NHS record automatically and you do not need to contact the Practice to let us know.
