Clinical System Outage
PRACTICE UPDATE - Sunday 21st July - 13:11
Following the outage on Friday 19th July which effected the majority of NHS organisations, including ourselves, we would like to provide you an update.
We have closely monitored our clinical system over the weekend, and are pleased to announce that the system supplier is making great restoration progress. This means that we are confident that normal service will resume in time for Monday 22nd July.
It was all hands on deck on Friday, and the team come together to ensure that we were able to continue to provide a service to our patients. Only a handful of appointments were cancelled, and we will be in contact with these patients to prioritise rescheduling their appointment soon.
We understand that some maybe keen to get through to us tomorrow (Monday 22nd) - please be mindful that wait times maybe a little longer than normal. The team will do their best to answer your call as soon as they can. If you have a routine query we'd ask that you think about calling us in the afternoon or on a different day. This will allow patients with an urgent need to be prioritised.
The practice team would like to thank all our patients who may have been effected. Your patience and understanding is very much appreciated.
UPDATE - 09:45Â
The issues we are experiencing are part of a wider national problem. Unfortunately this has had a knock on affect with businesses across the UK.
The practice are currently running on what we call 'Business Continuity Mode'. We'd ask that patients only contact the practice if their query is urgent for today.
Any non-urgent routine matters are brought to our attention at a later time. If you are presenting with life threatening symptoms, please dial 999.
The practice team would like to thank you for your patience and understanding.
CLINICAL SYSTEM OUTAGE

Unfortunately, due to a wider national outage, the practice is experiencing issues with its clinical system.
This means we are unable to book or cancel appointments or access patients’ medical records at this time.
If you have an appointment today - The practice team will contact you. Please keep your phone handy.
We are hopeful that access to the clinical system will be restored as soon as possible.
Thank your for your patience.
