New Technology to Support Your Consultation

At Ariel Healthcare, we are introducing new digital tools to support our clinicians during consultations. These tools are designed to help clinicians document consultations more accurately and efficiently, allowing them to focus more of their attention on you during your appointment.

In some consultations, with your permission, clinicians may use approved software to assist with creating clinical notes. This may involve recording the conversation during your appointment so that key information can be transcribed and summarised directly into your medical record.

Before using these tools, your clinician will explain what is involved and ask whether you are happy for them to proceed. If you do not wish for these tools to be used, you can decline, and your consultation will continue in the usual way. Your decision will not affect the care you receive.

Any information captured through these systems is handled securely and in accordance with NHS data protection requirements. The information is used solely for the purpose of supporting your care and creating an accurate record of your consultation. It is not used for marketing purposes or shared outside the healthcare team involved in your care.

These tools do not make decisions about your care. They are used solely to support clinicians with documentation and record-keeping. All clinical decisions, diagnoses, treatment recommendations, and referrals remain the responsibility of the healthcare professional providing your care.

We are committed to using technology in a way that enhances patient care while maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality, professionalism, and patient choice.

If you have any questions about how these tools are used, please speak to a member of our team.
